Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, business name, business type, website, social profile, business address, email address, mobile number, goals, marketing preferences, brand information, and any materials you submit.

We also collect service activity such as briefing and Campaign Page delivery, page opens, copy or image actions, portal settings, subscription status, support messages, referral information, and basic device and browser data.

How we use information

We use information to:

• set up and support your StratDaily account;
• research local context and prepare your private Week Ahead;
• prepare, deliver, and improve qualifying Campaign Pages and assets;
• process subscriptions and maintain account records;
• respond to support and protect the service from misuse; and
• understand product performance and improve the customer experience.

Address check before signup

If you use the public address check before creating an account, StratDaily processes the Nashville business address to verify the location and a current public food-and-drink business listing, then assembles a temporary seven-day Week Ahead from current source-backed local signals and forecast context. Geocoding, public place-data, and forecast services may process the address or location for that purpose. The check does not create a customer account or save the address as a customer business record unless you continue through onboarding and verify your email.

To operate and diagnose this experience, we retain the exact business address entered, the safely canonicalized address, the verified public business match, the outcome or bounded error reason, the exact Week Ahead shown, a random correlation identifier, sanitized campaign attribution, and bounded product milestones or feedback for up to 12 months. These records are private and automatically deleted after that period. This pre-signup record does not include an email, phone number, IP address, user agent, raw referrer, cookies, or raw request headers, and it does not create an account, customer, trial, signup, Campaign Page, delivery, or founder alert.

When business and address suggestions are available, Google Maps may process the search text and return public place details such as the selected business name, address, website, listing status, and published hours. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Text messaging and consent data

If you separately opt in, StratDaily may send recurring automated marketing alerts, including marketing opportunities and Week Ahead briefings, to the mobile number you provide. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Vendors that help us deliver messages may process this information only to provide services to StratDaily and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

When information is shared

We may provide information to service providers that host the application, store data and assets, send email or text messages, process payments, provide analytics, or help us operate and secure StratDaily. We limit access to what those providers need to perform their services.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.

Sources used for business intelligence

To tailor briefings and qualifying Campaign Pages, StratDaily may collect publicly available business information from websites, menus, event calendars, social profiles, and other public sources. You can correct or remove editable business and brand details through your portal or by contacting us.

Cookies, analytics, and attribution

We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the service working, understand visits and conversions, preserve referral or campaign attribution, and improve performance. Browser settings can limit some of these technologies, although doing so may affect service functionality.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use only links intended for you and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices

You can update business, brand, and delivery preferences in your portal. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions, by emailing hello@stratdaily.com.

Children’s privacy

StratDaily is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as StratDaily evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
